The Mournes are calling and I must go - wood sign

'The Mournes are calling and I must go' our quote inspired by our own love of the Mourne mountains in Newcastle, County Down and John Muir.

Also known as 'John of the mountains', John Muir was one of the early environmental advocates as well as likely the most influential naturalist of his time.  His writings still to this day continue to inspire and awaken our love of all things wild.

Our original Once upon a Dandelion design is a 4 colour colour screen print on a stained wood frame featuring The Mourne Mountains, forest, the sea and sky.  We hand print our signs here in our studio at the foot of The Mournes in Newcastle on wood that is responsibly forested.

The total measurement of each piece will measure approximately 26.5cm x 26.5 cm and is both free standing and strung ready to hang.

Please note that due to the colour, nature and character of wood, every wood sign will look different.  We also mix our own paints and each colour is individually hand pulled, varying the finish of each, making it wonderfully unique. 

Our postal boxes, tape, filler and paper used to protect your purchase during transit are all recyclable.
